Dear Friends, We’re a few weeks away from our evening of songs and stories with Mr. John Batdorf on Friday, May 17. You may recall that we hosted John out at the University School Pavilion for a fun event last fall. As an encore, we’re inviting close friends to see him at our home, with a cool twist… legendary Cleveland area radio personality, rock historian and author, David Spero, will be our guest emcee, leading a chat with John about his long career, the partnership with Mark Rodney, his Soundtrax 2 Recovery project, and more. Of course, John will be playing songs from his early work to the current in-production solo release. We know this is going to be a special evening. This will be a Pay as You Prefer event. We’ll have a cash contribution bucket and John will also graciously accept Venmo payments. John is in the process of producing his next release, so your support will be appreciated and make his job easier! We have often shared how we first heard John through his superb Batdorf & Rodney recordings in the ’70s. He has gone on to craft a library of excellent solo and duo releases.
